On Monday 4 July 2022 the department received a report from the holder of the Mount Bonnie mineral leases, advising they had noticed illegal excavation and removal of material from Mineral Lease Northern 1033.

Fossicking – Cox Peninsular Road

On Tuesday 7 June 2022 the department received a report of six car loads of people fossicking along Cox Peninsula Road, between two and four kilometres north of the Fog Bay Rd turnoff.

Approvals to enter reserved land now suspended
